Catholight digital media platform formally joins the Archdiocese on July 1

The Catholight digital media platform was founded in February 2024 by Fr. Tsai Tsung-ying of this Archdiocese. Over two years, with God's grace and the faithful's support, it has borne clear fruit in digital evangelization for Chinese-speaking Catholics.

To strengthen Catholight's role and give it a lasting institutional foundation, the Archdiocese has resolved that from 1 July 2026 the platform formally becomes a digital evangelization ministry of the Archdiocese of Taipei. Fr. Tsai Tsung-ying is appointed chaplain; Br. Hsu Li-jen, team lead.

Catholight's existing NT-dollar donation channels close on 1 July 2026. Offerings should be made through the Archdiocese (postal giro 10647145, account name: Catholic Archdiocese of Taipei Foundation); official receipts will be issued. To designate a gift for Catholight, note 'Catholight digital media platform' in the intention field.

The transition is expected to conclude by 1 January 2027; all platform services continue as normal in the meantime.
